Trust all is well with everyone. We wish to share a recent enhancement in our data management practices, directed towards augmenting the security and privacy measures for our customers, as well as for you, our Partners.
As part of our ongoing commitment to protect Customer information, we have implemented an anonymization process for all personal data collected during reservations. Personal data, as you know, refers to any information that relates to an identified or identifiable living individual. This includes pieces of information that, when collected together, can lead to the identification of a specific person.
In particular, we have anonymized the following customer information: first name, last name, email address, as well as usernames and passwords for connections in XML files. This measure will be applied to all customer data stored in our databases, both temporary and persistent.
From July 1st 2023 onwards, the anonymized data will be in place to ensure the utmost protection. We believe this step will significantly reduce the risk of data breaches and identity theft while maintaining the integrity of our services.
Please note that you, as our Partners, do not need to take any action in response to this update. We have taken care of the necessary changes on our end, and this email is to keep you informed about our ongoing efforts to enhance security and privacy.
We would like to emphasize that our partnership remains a top priority for us, and we are dedicated to providing a secure environment for our mutual customers. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this change, please do not hesitate to reach out to our team. We are more than happy to assist you and provide any additional information you may need.
Thank you for your continued support and understanding as we work together to improve the security and privacy of our customers’ data.
