Distribute selling rule filter by price

Problem description: We need to fine-tune markups to an higher degree.
Expected outcome: We can set a distribute selling rule based on the total price of the stay.
Idea description: Being able to set a distribute rule by amount (total price of the stay) would allow us to tune the client markups, to limit booking of too high or too low price, and many others.

Please could you let us know with this example if we understand your idea correctly?

You would set a mark-up based in total selling price of the booking so, as example:
If the stay is 500€, markup will be 5%
If the stay is 700€, markup will be 4.5%
If the stay is 100€, markup will be 6%

Could you also provide your own examples of the several applications you mentioned and why is valuable for you?

yes, this is a possible application: setting a different markup based on price of the stay, we would use this to decrease the markup on bigger reservations.

another use could be, for example, setting a different time window for bigger bookings, or disallowing big, non refundable bookings.
